We upgraded to Cloverleaf 5.8 on an AIX server, and I have a vendor wanting me to drop HL7 messages in ASCII format in a Windows folder on our network.  I just wondered if there were new options for this, or if you have a better suggestion than sending them to a local folder and moving them from there?

      Thanks,

      Gina

We use PROTOCOL:filesetftp to FTP each message in its own file to the windows server.

You can do one of the following:

            – run an FTP server on the Windows server and send the file through FTP

            – install Samba on your AIX server and configure it to mount the Windows share

            – write the file out locally on the Cloverleaf server and use a different product (one of the tools from *this thread) to deliver the file to the Windows server.

If your security folks would let you do it I recommended the SAMBA option noted above.
