      All,

The install documentation indicates hcitpsconvert needs to be executed.

However, after executing hcitpsconvert it appears the tclIndex file will only contain one entry (and probably the last file) no matter how many tcl proc files there are in the directory.

So we needed to do a mktclindex after hcitpsconvert to get the full index back.

This issue apparently was also true with 5.6 (our last update) however we do not recall causing us an issue then as we must have taken care of.

First of all Jim, hcitpsconvert probably never needs to be run again.  It was needed a whike back when converting from scripts that needed a shutdown mode.  I would say if you are upgrading from anything past 5.4 or 5.5 there is no need.  If it is still in the docs we need to change it

My bad on the script.  I wrote it.  As I convert a script I run mktclindex on each one to check that all the braces, etc. match.  I forgot to run it again after finished so the only thing in tclIndex is the last one.

By the time I discovered it, I figired the script was no longer needed so I did not upgrade it.

Give your fingers some exercise, run mktclindex  😀

            Charlie,

No problem – we did rum mktclindex so ultimately no harm. I just wanted to report it here so others are aware.

I agree this probably should not be in the install instructions.
