Shared memory in tcl

I’m wanting to set up an additional shared memory file for additional site monitoring information to go into, but from what I’ve seen tcl doesn’t have native access and the libraries for cloverleaf do not appear to have a generic shared memory library.

Just wondering if I’ve missed something to access shared memory in hcitcl or if I have to write my own library or use something from http://wiki.tcl.tk/2999

Has anyone had a play with using shared memory in their cloverleaf sites?
