Any experience switching from SNA via DLSw to UDP?

AIX 6.1 Communication Services

I’m losing too much sleep when our SNA connections go down b/c we are routing SNA traffic from/to Invision via SDLC DLSw and I want to try to take advantage of the Enterprise Extender feature in Communication Services.

For anyone who has looked at this, could I setup a 2nd set of link station, DLC and ports for enterprise extender – next to my SDLC set?

I only have 1 production/test set of servers, so I’m trying to think through how I could stand up a parallel test connection.
