      I’m new to itterations and I’m stumped and I have an urgent deadline of course.

          I think your basis is wrong.  This is probably a group iterate instead of segment iterate.  Confirm your basis by using HL7 test with sample message.

          Also the TABLE  command is not using your iterate variable.  I should see

          %s on left side of Xlate.

            This is assuming your basis was correct.  You were missing the %s1 on source side.

            Basis may be the following for Group iteration

            1(0).1

            group

            %g1
