Secure Courier Configuration

Looking to send about 100,000 messages a day per Secure Courier Client. Split amongst ADT, MDM, SIU and ORU messages types.

What would be the best configuration?   Multiple servers or can one beefy Windows server handle this load? (Win 2008 R2, 4 CPU, 2.8 ghz, 2GB RAM).

Anyone have real world experience with this amount of volume?

How many Secure Couriers should be installed?

      Any advice would be appreciated.

One server should be able to handle this kind of load. Ideally, you would want to split all this data on four separate couriers. We have clients sending us huge volumes with out any issues.

One thing you want to make sure that there are no backup or anti-virus scans running against the folder where you’ll install your CSC software. Also, if you are planning to use load balancer on your networking side, those IP configuration needs to be tweaked so that you won’t get any disconnect issues.

Please let me know if you need any more info.

          Thanks.
