Adding two delimiters in VRL format

I have a problem statement where i need to build the VRL format with the field separator as : i.e. carriage return + : is my delimiter, in cloverleaf we have an option to include the field separator in the global properties but it takes one character at a time, is there any way we can combine two delimiters and use it as a field separator in cloverleaf.
