I’m trying to set up an alert that wil fire any time a file size is changed. Here is a scree shot of the alert config for a file called enum. Does this look correct? I saved it and turned on the daemon, but its not firing
Running 5.5 Rev 1, I got this to work, using the Alert Type = file change.
Also used source count of all not any, but since only one file, should be OK. Everything else seems to work just fine.
You might want to check your Alert Action too. I executed our shell script to send me email, not notify, I think Notify pops up a window at some defined X11 display, which I don’t see defined in your config.
