      Tech Services have installed Cloverleaf 5.8 on a new *nix server for us, but weren’t requested to name a master site.

      Can the master site be initiated by setting environments variables

          You can set it manually by editing the file $HCIROOT/rootInfo

          Add the line:  mastersite=

              We are running Cloverleaf 5.6rev2 and the master site can also be set using the IDE as follows:

              Options -> Root Options -> General tab -> Master Site
