      Hello,

Is there a nice way to diff a thread’s configuration?

Pulling the correct data from the netconfig is an option, but I was wondering if there was anything else out there; other than, eye balling it.

      Thanks,

      Todd

Are you comparing two threads in two different NetConfigs (i.e. a test vs. prod)?  If so, you can use the ‘netdiff’ command.  If the NetConfigs are on two different boxes, you’ll need to place a copy of one of the NetConfigs on the same box as the other.

If you just want to compare some thread settings, you could do an ‘hciconndump -v xxxxxx’ (where xxxxxx is the name of the thread) on each of the threads; this will output much of the thread configuration information.

          Hope this helps.
