HP UX, 5.6.  I don’t think we’ve ever run an hcisiteinit but we’re going to have to do it soon.  We feel we have sufficient physical resources (CPU, memory, disk, etc.) for another site.  Are there any gotchas we need to be aware of when we run hcisiteinit?  The documentation says something about “site name restrictions” but doesn’t specify what those restrictions are; anybody know about those?  And what, generally, will we have in the new site once we run hcisiteinit?  I’m guessing it won’t copy our custom tcl scripts, xlates, etc., but does it create base formats, etc?  Thanks!

          Jim,

An ‘hcisiteinit’ simply copies the directory structure and files from the ‘siteProto’ directory under the $HCIROOT to the sitename you specify.
