We just moved from 5.6 on an AIX box to 5.8 on a virtual RHEL 5.4 Linux box and are having problems with an X12 connection. I opened a ticket with Lawson but thought I would throw this out to the list as well. It seems as if the Linux box is taking too long to receive/process the X12 file (7K) and the source system is timing out waiting for the TA1 ack to come. And then when the engine finishes its processing (about 7 minutes) it sends the TA1 but the source has already opened a new session and doesn’t know what to do with it so it sends the file again. It has processed the same file about 70 times. Any thoughts or system changes to speed up the response? Thanx!
