The outbound thread is writing a file to the remote server, but not saving the outbound message in the outbound SMAT file that is set up in the thread.  The Save outbound messages option is checked and a SMAT file name is entered.

This thread is also using a (TPS Outbound Data) numfile.tcl proc that specifies a filename with a timestamp extension.  The resulting filename is different than the filename in the File parameter in the Fileset Options tab of the FTP Protocol Properties dialog.  Would that prevent the thread from recording the outbound message?

Is there another config option that I am missing, or should I include a tclproc in the Send OK Procs under the Outbound tab to force the write?  If so, how do I set the disposition or command to resolve this?

      Thanks.

          Jon,

Make sure the SMAT file name configured is not the same as any other thread (that sometimes happens when copying threads in the NetConfig).

Different threads with the same SMAT file name can cause issues like this.

We have many threads using the numfile technique with Fileset Protocol and the SMAT files are always populated properly.

          What release of Cloverleaf?

The server is at 5.6PRev2 and the GUI is at 5.6P.

My habit is to use the thread name as the SMAT file name in both directions, but add “_ack” to the end for the inbound or outbound acknowledgement.

My only thought is that simply writing out the file to the destination server and folder is not generating a Send OK signal
