This may seem like a silly question, but if a message is acted upon by a script and the script fails to set a disposition (KILL, CONTINUE, OVER, etc.), what happens to the message?  Do messages have a default disposition that is followed if the disposition is never changed?

          Jon,

The message will sit in the recovery database at the state prior to the current tps.  So, if you had an inbound tps proc that didn’t “disp” the message, you would see that message sitting in the recovery database at state 1.  Assuming that you did a ‘return’ out of the proc without setting the disposition, you could see multiple messages sitting in the recovery database at the pre-tps state.
