We need to be able to send out information to the public using an SSL encryption.  We have purchased the SSL license but are trying to figure out how to create the CSR file so we can get a certification file.  Do we need to install a third party software to create this?  Both sides will be sharing their cert files.

We are running High Availability and the data is stored on a SAN, do we need to have certs for both Physical Boxes even though the data is stored in one location on the SAN

      Thanks

      Rob

You can use OpenSSL to generate requests. Usually the SSL Cert vendor supplies instructions on how to send the request.

Yes I am trying to create a TCP thread in Cloverleaf.  So the first bottle neck I am having is how do I create the CSR file.  We are on Red Hat 5.3.

The plan is to have both side have a signed certificate from Versign or godaddy.

The next problem will be configuring Cloverleaf

Ok. Do the instructions that I linked to work for the CSR file?
