Version 5010 is the new version of the X12 standards for HIPAA transactions and replaces Version 4010/4010A1. We are using Cloverleaf for the eligibility verification 270/271 transactions. Do you have any support TCL scripts to accommodate version 5010? Do you offer consulting services to do the conversion?

          Manny,

What I did for the 278 Transaction Set (5010) was to use the 5040 Variant provided and made my own variant.

As I recall that was not difficult and required virtually no change to the structure.

So if your inbound or outbound is still 4010 or 4010A1 (any version) then your Xlate would have that variant and the new 5010 variant you build in the 5040 set.

          I was on Cloverleaf 5.6

I am in the process of upgrading to version 5.8 and they do provide the 5010 version of the message. I hope it will be an easy conversion from 4010 to 5010

              Manny,

              What is the situation?

Is your inbound and outbound now 4010?

Will both be 5010 ort will one be 4010 and one 5010/ Which will be what for example 4010 inbound 5010 outbound?

In any case if you really want to get this to work with some ease, you should have in your possession the 270/271 5010 (and 4010) Implementation Guides and the Companion Guides (which should be provided by the sending and receiving systems).
