Any issues with Cloverleaf 5.8 running on AIX5.3 TL12?

Hi All,

I know Cloverleaf 5.8 is certified on AIX5.3 TL8, but we have had to upgrade to TL12 due to some issues with communications to the SAN.

Does anyone know of any issues with Cloverleaf 5.8 running on AIX5.3 TL12?

Or have any success stories ?

  Ben, we have been running CIS5.7.3 on AIX 5.3 TL12 SP3 for several months without any issues. We do have scripts that auto cycle our SMAT files and the monitor daemon program for all of our multiple sites.
  
  This helps us rule out problems due to monitor daemon behavior – some posts to this Forum have suggested that running the monitor daemons leads to problems. Again I stress “suggested” here.
  
  Lawson Cloverleaf certifies on the MINIMUM OS platforms: per their support, going higher should not be a problem. So far our experiences validate that statement.
  
  For what it’s worth: IBM is pulling support for AIX5.3 TL12 next April 2012.
  
  Due to that event, we are upgrading to AIX6.1 TL3 as recommended by our Operating System Group.
