      Cloverleaf 5.6

I’ve been re-arranging the interfaces on my test CL engine and seem to have run into some sort of limit or bug.

I have 14 processes in my test site.

The most recent, added yesterday, shows red in the Process Control pane of the Network Monitor – even though it’s running (according to hciprocstatus).

I stopped/restarted the monitor daemon and now the new process shows green.

Have any of you seen this before?

      Thanks!

          Jeff,

Yes, I have seen this too. If you don’t cycle the hcimonitord logs on a regular basis and allow them to grow too big, it makes it very difficult for the deamon to open the files and append to them. Once you restart the monitord (creating new logs) or cycle its logs, then GUI refreshing becomes easier.

I am not sure this was your problem, but look at the size of your old log files (hcimonitord.log.old, hcimonotord.err.old) and that will give you an indication.

Occasionally, I find that I have to kill and restart the host server for a similar issue.

89076 and 21880 bytes respectively. Not what I’d call large.
