      Hi there,

      I may be missing something really simple since I’m fairly new to Cloverleaf, but I am having trouble setting up alerts that take more than one action.

          Have you tried to order the alerts such that the email is first (or place it first in the actions)?

          As t is the process reset is resetting the Alerts (which stopping and starting the process if that is what you are doing will accomplish).

            Most of our Cloverleaf alert trigger events perfomr more than one action, typically send out email and pages and cycle the thread.

            The method we us is to write an argument driven script which is called that gets called when the alert is triggered.

            I have previously posted an example of having a coverleaf alert trigger event call our recycle_thread_alert.ksh using cloverleaf alert: exec

              I’ve got this working now using some old code I found.  But then I discovered that you can configure these via the GUI in v5.7.  Can’t get it to work, though.  The outbound messages get stuck on the sendmail box.  Here are some entries from mailq:

              I’m thinking the problem is the attempt to connect to webmail.piedmont.org, but can’t find where that setting is configured.  It’s not in sendmail.cf
