What could be the cause of having a different network monitor image when running network monitor on the server than on the client?

          Hi Robert,

Have a look at the Client preferences: start the IDE and choose Options/Client options…, then select tab Netconfig/Netmonitor. Here you can change (a bit) how the Network monitor looks, per client.

Or do you mean something else?

In our case the server is AIX so to run the netmonitor requires us to launch a TCL/TK GUI via hciaccess and yes it does look different than on a windows client running the JAVA IDE.

I don’t know if this is similar to your case but thought I would share.

Another thought is are both versions on the server and the client the same.

To check this go into IDE -> help -> Support -> click client and server tab and confirm the versions are identical down to the revision level for the site in question.

Yes its the network monitor screen. The server has the processes in a different order than the client shows.

We often get java errors at different times. I posted a question about a null point error.

I was hoping to find a quick and easy fix, but we are upgrading to 5.7 on linux, so I think we will play it where it lays for now.

              Thanks for your input.
