      All,

      Does anyone have experience using the XML Data Type via the ODBC drivers invoking a Stored Procedure or otherwise for Oracle or SQL Server DBs?

          All,

          We have begun to explore this more deeply.

          I have successfully caused an XML Data Type Column in a SQL Server DB to be inserted by invoking a Stored Procedure and passing an XML Data Type parameter to it (the XML message was built in Cloverleaf using an Xlate to create teh XML message).

          I then was able to return an XML Data Type via a Cloverleaf ODBC invoked Stored Procedure again using an XML Data Type parameter.

          I still have a long way to go but I would be interested in discussing the use of XML exchange via ODBC for Oracle or SQL Server with anyone whos is or has done this -or for that matter – anyone interested in doing this.
