New to X12 – Is there an X12 ACK?

This is my first time working with X12 so I’m a bit lost.  The sending system is requesting that the engine send/receive ack messages.  With HL7, we use the RawHL7Ack.tcl.  Is there something similar for X12?  Not sure where to start!
