      Enhancement short description:

While using testing tool for TPS, modifying the Tcl procs used resets the Send to Proc dropdown to the first value in the dropdown.

      Date:

      11/19/2010

      Operating System:

      AIX

      Version of OS:

      6.1

      Cloverleaf Version:

      5.7

      Revision:

      Rev 2

      Tool:

      Testing Tool

      Enhancement Long Description:

When I’m using the TPS Testing Tool and I select Edit… to either add a Tcl proc or even just cancel out of that window, the Send to Proc dropdown resets to the first item in our list. This is annoying as it doesn’t elsewhere such as in the Routes tester when I change the Source Thread. I don’t feel it should reset as I’m going to use the same Send to Proc setting as before…especially if I push cancel just to review the Tcl procs I’m using.

          Greetings,

We reported this problem to Healthvision/Lawson support about a week ago and was assigned CASE#92907 to track this issue.  We are AIX5.3 TL12 running CIS5.7R2.

          Enjoy.

As a temporary workaround, I renamed the hcitpstestshowbydisp in file tpstest.tcl (which is the proc that I use most when testing TPS) to: ahcitpstestshowbydisp  and this alleviates the issue when changing test procs.  It always appears at the top of the list.  If you use another proc more often, you could rename it to precede with an “a.”  Of course, you’ll need to mktclindex after the rename.
