RTIF and 5.8

Anyone doing RTIF with Cloverleaf 5.8? Without a mainframe it is hard to test.

One user is reporting problems with the hcitblconvert after the prewrite – works OK as sms_ob_data. This regardless of the encoding settings

Also reporting problems viewing the OB SMAT file, which is EBCDIC, in ascii.

Is this isolated or have others seen this?

  We are testing with 5.8 currently, but haven’t tested our RTIF connection yet. When we do, I’ll let you know.

  Just because Lawson has a mainframe does not mean we have access to it and certainly does not mean it it running Envision 😉

  We tested our RTIF connection (for charges) to INVISION with 5.8 today.
