Tell the vendor you need a copy of the ACK message that was sent.

Just a thought, what protocol are you using?  If it’s the standard pdl-tcip with mlp_tcp_.pdl, then maybe the vendor is not using the hex 0B1C0D “envelope” to encapsulate the ACK (though it seems like you’d see something then with the EO turned up).

Just a stab in the dark here:  the vendor may be telling you that they are sending back a low level TCP protocol packet ACK.  What they need to do is send back an application level ACK (lower level HL7 hybrid wrapped).  Even a phrase would do here:  however, you would have to crank up some TCL logic to handle that reply (and a companion resend if you are configured to do auto-resend as Cloverleaf will not allow you to manage the State 16 from a Reply procedure if auto-resend is checked).

Alternatively, if you have network resources in your shop, a sniffer could be placed on this interface to see exactly what is coming back if anything at all.
