hci cmds don’t work on linux 5.4 32bit w cloverleaf5.7

I have cloverleaf 5.7 on linux 5.4 32bit. Post install, I bring up the command prompt on default site, and execute hcidbdump command. It works fine.

Change the server from IDE. Then bring up cmd prompt from IDE, hci commands don’t work. When I do a showroot, it displays the defaultsite. So I modified the .bashrc and commented out setroot, setsite commands. This time when I bring up IDE’s command prompt, the showroot displays currently active site. It also executes hci commands fine.

But when I do a source .bashrc at a regular command prompt and type hciaccess, it throws an error that setroot needs to be executed.

My question: please suggest a logical fix for this issue, so that both hciaccess on a regular terminal and hci commands on IDE’s command prompt work fine.
