Has anyone set up an alert on the error database to go off when a certain number of errors is reached?

      Thanks

We don’t have one that is set up that way in the alert configurator.  However, we do have a script that monitors the error database on all sites.  It generates a report about 3 or 4 times a day.  It lists each site, the total number of messages in the error database and the thread that has generated the most number of errors.

We also purge messages from the error database after a set number of days…so the script isn’t seeing the same messages over and over.

We are on 5.6.   Here is the script.   The script is placed in each site scripts directory and but is run from the cron directory on our main site.

I didnt write it but if you have questions I will do my best to answer them.
