For some reason, I seem to remember that the “testsite” site is not to be messed with because it is some kind of skeleton for the creation new sites. Do I have too much imagination or is there really something special about that “testsite” site? 😕
There is no testsite delivered with Cloverlead. Perhaps you are thinking of siteProto. When you create a new site all that is done is a recursive copy of siteProto to sitename and an entry made in the server.ini file. Not brain surgery here 😀
You should not remove anything is siteProto but you can certainly add to it for your requirements. For example you want a data directory in the site directory of every site. If you add a data directory to siteProto it will be there with each site created.
