      Hello,

The time on our Cloverleaf system is not correct after DLS time change. Our Windows system does have the correct time. How do I change the time in Cloverleaf?

      Thanks,

      Garrett

I believe depending on your CL version you may need to check your java version.

You are correct. I just talked to McKesson support. We are version 5.3 and they said the Java that goes with 5.3 does not support DLS (or changing the time aparently) and we can not update our Java without breaking Cloverleaf. Luckly we are planning a upgrade to 5.7.

Mckesson supports Cloverleaf now, I thought it was Lawson?  ðŸ˜•

Well, Lawson owns the Cloverleaf product now. McKesson repackages it and resells it as ‘Pathways Interface Manager’, but all it is is Cloverleaf with a McKesson Splash Screen when you open it. And even though we buy it through McKesson, our support is through Carebridge.

That way, everyone gets paid and everyone is happy! $$ 8) $$

Carebridge is a McKesson product. If you buy Cloverleaf through McKesson you have to get your support from McKesson.

Well ive tried everything I can think of.  Ive ran the TZupdater.jar from java if updated the windows patches for DST and the problem remains.  If I change my clock on my pc to 11am cloverleaf says 10.  If I put 3pm Cloverleaf reports 2pm.  So I cant even trick cloverleaf into putting the correct time lol.

Mike did you try to trick it by changing your time zone?

                          Mike,

I have tried to post with an attachment that is a jar file for the CIS5.3 client.   This jar file fixes the DST problem for your version.  However it is too big to post in this forum.  But!  I do have the technical document from (then) Quovadx with the links for various platforms to get the jar file you need for Windows (we are AIX Unix).  That document is attached.

The file you want to replace is the rt.jar file for CIS5.3.

Once you upgrade to at least 5.6 you will be fine as long as Congress doesn’t get a burr in the wrong place and change the law again.

                          Good luck!

You also have the option to not get stressed out and ignore the incorrect time until it eventually will correct itself.  That is what we have been doing with older versions of cloverleaf and just realize it will be off an hour for a while.

Here is the email I sent out to our team recently to remind them of this reoccruing DST issue with older versions of cloverleaf.

Cloverleaf 5.2 IDE GUI shows one hour behind which is expected.

Cloverleaf 5.6 IDE GUI shows the right time.

This is because the older version of Cloverleaf uses an older version of JAVA which is not aware of the changes congress made to DST.

When the historical/legacy DST change occurs then the older cloverleaf version will once again display the correct time like it has done previously.

I would recommend being aware of this but don
