Questions on upgrading 5.5 to 5.7

All,

We’re upgrading v. 5.5 to 5.7.  Have a few questions and would appreciate any feedback:

1. We’re on RH 3.4.6 for v 5.5. The newer v. 5.7 requires RH 5.0/5.1.  If we update the Linux version first, will the PROMOTE version process for v 5.5 run on the updated RH Linux 5.x?

2. What are the latest patch levels for 5.7? Are there any outstanding bugs or issues?

3. How does 5.7 resource use compare to 5.5? Are any additional resources suggested?

4. Are there internal changes in 5.7 that would cause an existing TCL running in 5.5 to fail?

5. Any general feedback on upgrade from 5.5 to 5.7 would be appreciated as well.
