I have no problem running the hcifrltest tool on my Linux server from the command line but when attempting to run an frl test via the testing tool IDE it hangs with below message in the result window:

      Please Wait ……

      Command Issued: hcifrltest -a  -d 4 -f nl hisadt.frl /quovadx/qdx5.6/integrator/mghtest/datafiles/hisadt.dat

      Command output:

      Any ideas?

I’m not sure what causes it, but you might want to check to make sure it didn’t create a rogue process out there on your server.

We had an issue recently where hcitcproutetest appeared to hang in the GUI, but it left a rogue processes on the server that had 3 of 4 CPUs pegged at 100% utilization.

I had to manually kill the processes.  I was unable to determine what caused it since the testing tool does not have a log file that I could find.

          Hope this helps.

Try restarting the host server.  If that works, I’d suspect that your system start-up scripts aren’t setting the environment correctly before they start the host server.

I have the same problem with testing xlates.  There are 5 Windows PC’s in our department and only one of them works with the GUI testing tool.  I understand it may have something to do with the configuration of the Windows system and how it works with the CL Client software.  I have not resolved it yet.
