Data Integrator (ODBC Drivers) local odbc.ini file

Data Integrator comes with a system odbc.ini file.

DataDirect indicates there can be local (application level) odbc.ini files. Those are indicated in an environment variable that if set points to a local odbc.ini file.

I would like to be have the option of utilizing local odbc.ini files for a Cloverleaf site.

However, when I atempt to set that Environment Variable I either do not know where to set that or it is getting overlayed when a site is first started.

Anyone know if this can be accomplished and if so how to accomplish it?
