Evaluating upgrade to 5.7 or wait for 5.8

We’re a large multi-campus hospital (2M messages/day) and are planning to upgrade our existing 5.5 installations in May of 2010.

Original project plan was to switch to 5.7 but we’re seeking input as to benefits of 5.8 that go beyond listed features, (expected stability, fixes, etc., as compared to 5.7).

Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.
