You should turn up the EO on the process that seems to be panicking, then the next time it panics, save off the log and review it. I would also send a copy of that log to Support and ask them to take a look at it. The message:
NULL DTD when closing DBI
PANIC: Thread panic—engine going down
PANIC: assertion ‘0’ failed at Connection.cpp/1780
is generic and doesn’t provide enough info as to when/why the panic is occurring.
James, Thank you for the response. I have sent every log available to support and they are stumped apparently. I recently migrated my server from 2000 to 2003 and have had nothing but problems. I moved to a Dell PowerEdge 1950. It’s so random when it happens and it’s different processes. I turned the EO config on for a few of the processes but its taxing the system pretty hard. Im thinking about rebuilding the server with 2003 and no updates on it.
