Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong. I have an inbound thread accepting messages from Biztalk. This is working ok. I want to setup an outbound thread to a file so I can at least get messages into a file. Once I get this working I want to play around with translates and variants. Just a learning tool. The messages seem to be recieved by the outbound thread they just don’t go into a file. I have included a doc file with screenshots. In the last screen shot it looks like the outbound thread received 15 messages but sent 0. Is this correct?

On the protocol properties, you have defined an outbound file name of OutBound.  You are probably creating a file somewhere for this named ‘Outbound’.  I am guessing it is in your processes/.  How about trying a more specific path for the filename.

Also, you usually do not need to creaate an Ack message on your outbound thread as indicated in your tps outbound upoc.

I don’t beleive you had the append to file check under your protocol properties.  I beleive if memeory serves me correctly, that without this checked, every time you bounce the thread, your outbound file will be initialized.

          Hope this helps….
