      Hi all,

The company that maintains our CL servers (cluster of HP-UX Itanium servers) wants to disable several OS protocols for security reasons. These are the protocols they want to disable:

    • telnet

      tftp

      bootps

      finger

      login

      shell

      exec

      uucp

      ntalk

      auth

      daytime

      time

      echo

      discard

      chargen

      kshell

      klogin

      ncpm-pm

      ncpm-hip

    • Will disabling these protocols have any negative influence on Cloverleaf? Do certain TCL-commands (like exec or clock) use these protocols?

      TIA!
