6.27 MLP is not supported on TCP/IP driver (11862)
MLP is extremely common for in bound/outbound TCP/IP connections but the only support currently available is through the use of a PDL and the PDL TCP/IP driver.
This support has been added to the TCP/IP driver, for both server and client modes.
This change allows other prefixes/postfixes besides that required by MLP for defining the message start/end. However, the defaults will be those called out by MLP.
Is this for the tcp or pdl-tcp protocol?
The way I read this is that I don’t need to use a pdl anymore.
Yet I don’t see how to set this up on the regular tcp protocol.
Can someone clear this up? I’m confused.
