I had a problem here recently when I went to do an install of some new threads, and an old thread I had deleted long ago had appeared without my knowledge. So when I went to add the new one, there was so much stuff backed up in the old thread that everything locked on me when I went to start up the new thread.

I talked to someone at Health Vision and I thought I took good notes on how to prevent this from happening again when I want to delete a thread, but looking back at my notes now, they make little sense. Can someone help?

      Here’s what I have now:

      1. Shut down all processes, including the daemon and lock manager.

      2. Delete the old thread I want to remove.

      3. Delete shared memory, and/or do a system cleanup.

      4. Restart all threads.

      5. Check to make sure old thread did not reappear.

Now, for step 3, I have a bunch of commands written down but I don’t know what order they go in or even if they are correct:

      rm vista.taf

      monitorShemFile

      hcimsiutil -R

      hcidbinit -AC

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I received these clean up instructions from support that I have used successfully.  They are attached.
