      Hi,

I have issue with sending next message after receiving a reply from an OV. I have a thread setup with ‘Wait Reply’ using a raw_tcp.pdl so the message is no wrapped with any extra characters, also with the following TCLs attached:

      – save_ob_msg_38

      o Outbound

          Wilhelm,

There are a couple of ways you can handle this.  First, would be to create a new ‘check_reply’ proc to use instead of the validate_reply_38.  Then, in that proc you can simply check that the message you received is the ACK|END.

Second, if the system is always going to send you an ACK regardless of what you send, then you could simply keep the ‘Await Replies’ option checked and remove your validate_reply_38 proc (but you will need to KILL the inbound reply with hcitpsmsgkill).  The engine then assumes that ANY message received while awaiting replies is a reply and then sends the next message.  I would recommend doing the ‘First’ option.

          Hope this helps.

            Hi Jim,

Thanks for that. Do you have an example of a check reply proc?

            Many thanks,

            Wilhelm
