      Can anyone help me with the cause/meaning of these messages?

      PANIC: “(driver)->state == PDS_IDLE”

      PANIC: Calling “pti” for thread xlate_IPRx_adt_cmd

      PANIC: Calling “dbi shutdown” for thread xlate_IPRx_adt_cmd

      PANIC: Calling “dbi shutdown” for thread xlate_IPRx_adt_xlate

      PANIC: Calling “dbi shutdown” for thread fr_bea_IPRx_adt

      PANIC: Calling “dbi shutdown” for thread IPRx_adt_xlated

      PANIC: Thread panic—engine going down

      PANIC: assertion ‘(driver)->state == PDS_IDLE’ failed at hcipd.cpp/1519

      Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

                Dan,

                Perhaps I spoke too soon.  I believe we finally did get this resolved.  We are on version 5.4 of Cloverleaf.  Because of the way we have build our engine using Cloverleaf and components from BEA we had set up our listening ports as multiserver.  We found out that there was apparently a bug with multiserver that is supposedly fixed with version 5.6.  I believe we solved this problem by simply reconfiguring the listening ports as server.

                  Thanks much, David.  I thought my colleague had already tried that, so I ignored it.  When I switched back to server from multiserver, and chose differnt ports, all the messages started processing, with no errors!
