      Hello,

I’m having an issue with an xlate route after I purge caches on the process.  When I do this, my next transaction on that route crashes the process. However, if I bounce the process instead of using the purge caches button, the next message processes with out crashing the process.

Out of frustration, I re-created the variant and the xlate, but had the same outcome.

Has anyone experienced the same problem?

We’re running Cloverleaf 5.3 on our 5.2 AIX box.

      Thanks,

      Todd

          Todd,

This is a bug in a releases prior to 5.5 Rev 1 where the translation message object got corrupted by the purge cache.  The issue is fixed in 5.5 Rev1 or 5.6.

          Thanks,

              Greetings,

I would like to add that currently we are running Cloverleaf Integrator 5.3 REV3 on AIX5.2 and do not experience purge cache crashes.  Perhaps you need to apply the REV3 patch?

              Just a thought.

              Enjoy.

That’s interesting.  Do you know of many changes/issues/gotchas with REV3?

                Thanks for the reply!

                  Greetings,

I would urge you to contact the Cloverleaf support people at HealthVision (formerly Quovadx) and get the current FTP username and password for their support site.  Ask if the patch is available for download – there are release notes.  I have the tar file and would need to extract them.  It has been a few years since we applied the patch.

                  Good luck and good hunting!

                    Bob,

I did contact Health Vision and they suggested we move to a more recent version like 5.5 or 5.6.
