Threads shutdown in site

Anybody have an explanation as to why all the threads in one particular site would all shutdown?  All the processes were still up…just the threads were dead.  Once I stopped and started the processes everything went back to normal.  All the other sites were up and running as usual.  Checked the logs for the processes in that site, but that seems to reveal anything to me.

Just curious as to what ideas you all had…
