      I am currently running Cloverleaf 5.3P_REV2 on AIX 5.2 with Java version 1.3.1.  Our SA’s have a new box for me but it will have AIX 5.3 on it.  

        I would like to just move our current Cloverleaf version onto the new box and work on upgrading in the future.  Does anyone know if there will be any problems running my old Cloverleaf on the New AIX version?

          I Craig, you are likely to have problems. I had the same question for Quovadx tech support and here is their answer …

          Solution:

          Hi Andre,

          but AIX 5.3 is not compatible with CL5.3.

          The only UNIX platofrms compatible with CL5.3 is :

          AIX 5.1 (32 and 64 bit)

          AIX 5.2 (32 and 64 bit)

          Solaris 2.8 & 2.9 (32 and 64 bit)

          Red Hat Linux 3.0 AS Intel x86 (32 bit)

          HP-UX 11.11 (11i) (32 and 64 bit)

          Cloverleaf 5.4 and newer are compatible with AIX5.3.
