constantly updating a table/database

      Hi all,

      I want to write a table or database that updates every minute so I can compare MR# in this table /database an send only the transactions that the MR# matches what is in the table./database anybody have any idea how to do this. I am not sure how I should start can some help me. We are AIX5.1 and QDX5.2

          I would look at sqlite

            We’ve done a similar thing using gdbm – I don’t think sqlite existsed then!

            My only concern, would be the maintenance and size of either database.  Our issue was a work around for a bug in the clinical manager application and the code was in use for a few months only.
