I have threads in my config_dflt.view file that don’t exist, and haven’t existed in my NetConfig file for years.

Why do they remain out there?

What’s the approved way to get rid of them?

And the same applies to msiTocEntry. How do you get rid of them?

The simpliest method is, assuming you can shut down, is to remove the $HCISITEDIR/exec/monitorShmemFile.  It will be recreated when next accessed by msi commands or when the monitor daemon is restarted.
