We are in the process of going from 5.3 to 5.4.1 and I noticed something on the Lookup Table Configurator for 5.4.1.  The default on 5.3 didn’t put a suffix at the end of the filename, but 5.4.1 is defaulting to “.tbl”.  My questions are 1) do I need to rename the old tables to name.tbl and 2) do you reference the “.tbl” in the TCL scripts that use the tbllookup function?

      TIA.

          Stephen,

My guess is either with or without the .tbl extension a Table will work fine if properly constructed internally.

You should not have to rename your tables to add the ‘.tbl’ extension or modify any existing scripts.

However, it is probably better to rename the tables to avoid confusion later down the road.

              Steve,

I am on Cloverleaf(R) 5.2 and I have a mix of Tables with and without the .tbl extension.

I cannot find anyplace the GUI does not show me all of the tables.

What release are you on and can you identify what in the GUI does not display the Table set properly?

              Thanks,

              Jim Kosloskey

                It may just be 5.5.

                  Steve,

Thanks – that is good information to know – for us especially as I think 5.5 is where we are currently headed.

                    5.4.1 works like 5.5.
