There have been some misconceptions lately about what is now covered in the Level 3 Certification class.
In addition to covering advanced topics and expanding on many things covered in Levels 1 and 2, Level 3 is a presentation of tips, tricks, and lessons learned (The hard way) by Senior Implementers. Probably half of what is taught is not on the slides but comes from the Implementers personal experiences.
Level 3 is now always taught by Senior Implementers, those of ius with at least 7 or 8 years of experience. People such as myself, Viken Ohannessian. Rob Abbott, etc.
Of course, we have to weigh what is coveed in the advanced topics area against the expected student background. It is for that reason we do not get deep into Java UPoCs now, since most of our users do not program in Java, but will offer specialized classes for those that do need more in specialized areas.
You learn how to spell Cloverleaf in Level 1, you learn engine internals and advanced topics in Level 2. Now, in Level 3 we show you what to do with all of this knowledge 🙂
I just wanted to clear this up. Please let us know if you have questions.
