Does anyone have experience with both inbound and outbound sched interfaces with Cerner? We are recreating the wheel here.

We are receiving a batch charge file from Cerner into Cloverleaf.  We have the connection set up real-time, but only receive data once a day from Cerner.  If you need more information and I would be happy to chat offline.

Thanks but we’re installing a scheduling interface.

Cerner sends us an S12 new appt which goes to GE (IDX).

GE creates a preadmit which sends an S14 update appt to Cerner.

For some reason Cerner is then sending back out an S13 reschedule appt.

We’re being told that “That’s the way it works.” I’m in serious doubt though.

I have not installed the scheduling interface, but I am familiar with other Cerner inbound/outbound idiosyncrasies.

Are you intending to update the Cerner appointment with the S14 from IDX, and is that working?

If  the appointment update from IDX is working properly, and you don

                David, thanks for the headstart.

We only want to add the visit number to the appt.

We will also, separately, later, GE will send an S14 for arrival purposes (which we will turn into a Z01 for Cerner.)

I’m passing the rest of your info to the Cerner team.

We’ve wrestled with the time, but not the resource. That maybe where we’re getting mess up.

                Thanks again!
