Converting OMP 2.5 to RDE 2.3 message

I am looking at converting an OMP^O09 HL7 2.5 message to a RDE 2.3 message is this possible.  These are for pharmacy orders.  I know that our version of cloverleaf does not support 2.5 but I can write this in TCL if all of the required data elements are present.  We are on QDX5.3. I am trying to get the vendor to send at least an RDE 2.5
