      Here is the error from the log:

      [0:TEST] Expected to find IR_TAG_GROUP, found IR_TAG_UNKNOWN

      PANIC: assertion ‘(ir)->ir_tag == (2)’ failed at IndexRepeat.cpp/667

      This happened in our environment when we upgraded to 5.4.1

      It seems to be an issue if there is a translate that uses Bulkcopy where there are Z segments in the inbound or outbound variant, but they worked in 5.3.3 fine.

      Can anyone enlighten me?

          This happend to us when we upgraded from 3.8.1 to 5.4.  It seems like previous versions of Cloverleaf were a little more forgiving when doing a Bulk Copy where your outbound varrient didn’t match your inbound varient.  I cant remember the exact cause of the problem but the solution was to replace our Bulk Copy with PathCopys.

            So why does Quovadx still train people to use Bulkcopy?  We have new staff members here that were trained within the last two months, and Bulkcopy is still recommended as the best way to write translations…

              All,

              BULKCOPY is fine and dandy as long as both your inbound and outbound message structures are the same (i.e. same segments/groupings, etc.).
